248.  We get up at 4:30 every morning and take sunrise pics, this one was in a snowstorm that produced amazing colors, I thought.

245.  Near the top of Bear Lake Road, we saw this beautiful stand of aspens while we were in RMNP in late September (2005).  I had always thought that aspen leaves only turned yellow, so it was interesting to see some red leaves too.

244.  This was taken in July 2004 on a solo hike to Bridal Veil Falls.  The wildflowers were beautiful along the way and the destination was well worth it.

243.  Fern Falls. - This is by far one of my most favorite pictures of all time.  I just love the contrast between the soft water and the dead timber.  There is just so much for your eyes to explore as you look at it that, to me, it is mesmerizing.  It was an overcast day which helped the lighting.  I took a lot of shots using ND filters and a tiny aperture to really get the soft look that I was going for.  This is going to end up as a 20" x 30" framed picture over the fireplace once I get a chance to really tweak it in Photoshop.

242.  This is the sunrise that I saw from the switchbacks on the way to Boulderfield.  My Dad and I made it to the summit of Longs at 9:25 and got snowed on while at the top.  August 10, 2006.
