Mts Chapin, Chiquita and Ypsilon are my favorite mountains and the clouds and sky cooperated that day for a perfect backdrop. I took this picture in July 05 from the turnout that overlooks Horseshoe Park. Submitted by RhondaM [Medium Size] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |

I took this picture close to Chasm Falls during our Mid-August 2005 trip. I just thought that the "dead" tree amongst all the green was a fascinating display! Submitted by Romy Zimmerman [Medium Size] [Full Size (1024 x 682, 267 kB)] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |

Long Lake - This picture was taken in Indian Peaks Wilderness area, on Sept. 14, 2005, on the hike to Lake Isabelle. It was taken with a Sony CyberShot 3.2. This was from the northeast end of the lake, at the beginning of the trail. By the time we got to Lake Isabelle, those nice puffy clouds had turned into thick, ominous clouds, and we returned on the opposite side of the lake in a thunder snowstorm. It was a very beautiful trail.Submitted by Jim Storm [Medium Size] [Full Size (1024 x 768, 172kB)] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |

Tundra - This photo was taken in September, 2005, near the top of Old Fall River Road. I was surprised at all of the different colors and contrasts in this shot. I think it was probably the best tundra photo we got during our trip. Submitted by Jonathan Lewis [Medium Size] [Full Size (1024 x 768, 194kB)] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |
