The view from Rock Cut is my favorite one in the park, all the way from Longs Peak to Specimen Mountain. This picture is looking straight across Forest Canyon, from Terra Tomah Mountain to Arrowhead Lake and Mount Ida. Submitted by Dixie C. Nymph Lake - Early in June, the beautiful green lilies with yellow flowers (after which this lake is named) which normally cover Nymph Lake are nowhere to be found, but the reflection of Longs Peak in the still water is wonderful. Taken June 5, 2003. Submitted by John Swadley [Medium Size] [Full Size (1024 x 768, 148 kB)] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |

Coyote near the Beaver Meadows Park Entrance - Photographed in early July 2003 with a 180mm f2.8 lens and monopod for portable stability. The critter was relatively tame, and I have a few from less than 30 feet that don't have the compositional qualities I like with this one. Flattop and Hallett can be seen in the background. Exposure data... Kodak print film ISO 100 - about 1/1000th @ f4. Submitted by Norm Smith [Medium Size] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |

We saw a herd of Bighorn Sheep just a little outside the entrance to the park. This particular one posed well for my camera. So I clicked. Hope everyone likes it. Submitted by Vinita Morrison [Medium Size] [Add comments about this photo] [View comments] |
