This photo of Glacier Creek was taken Sept. 7th, 2003 from the trail a short way above Alberta Falls. I was near the end of a long (12mile), wet day of hiking. It was the 1st of 5 days I had in RMNP and I wasn't about to waste a single one. The aspens were all still green except for a few stray branches here and there. I thought these would make a nice frame for a beautiful scene. There were few photo opportunities this day because of the low clouds and rain.
