Sky Pond - This picture is from a hike that my brother and I did in the middle of Aug 2001. We made it to 7 lakes and 2 waterfalls in a day hike. Sky Pond was our final destination and Lake number 7. We ended up losing the trail on the way to it and were about 100 ft above the lake. It was neat to be looking down on the lake though. Once down by the lake I could see how crystal clear and surprisingly calm the water was. It was also nice to see some snow/glacier up in the mountains. I would like to see this lake earlier in the summer when there is more snow.
